In November 2023, I launched my newsletter and published my first Monthly Archive. It’s already been a full year! Over this time, I’ve learned so much about who I am, what I enjoy, and who I want to become. I know this might sound like a cliché, but helping others truly brings me the most joy. For some strange reason, friends and family often come to me for advice on everything from relationships to fashion, books and movies, and just life in general. I find it flattering obviously, and the fact that they keep seeking my recommendations makes me think that maybe this is one of my hidden talents. As someone who grew up feeling deeply insecure, the trust that people around me have in me is heartwarming and truly motivates me.
For this new series, though, I’ll need your help! I know Sundays can be hard for some people, so we need to get cozy: grab a blanket, a hot cup of tea with some butter biscuits, put on your wool socks, and snuggle up. Every Sunday night, during Sleepy Tea Time with Ella, I’ll be answering your questions — you can ask me anything. Whether you’re going through something personal and need a virtual hug, need a book or movie recommendation, or want help picking out the perfect gift (another talent of mine, if I do say so myself), I’m here for you. I’ve created an anonymous ask box so you can reach out without fear of judgment. (I promise, I would never judge.)
Once I’ve gathered a good number of questions, I’ll publish the answers in a post, just like a conversation between friends. To be clear: your questions will be public, but no one will know they came from you.
I realize this newsletter has a lot going on: between The Archives, essays, and book reviews, there’s a lot to explore. But I have so many ideas I want to share and a whole lineup of new publications I hope to start someday. The last thing I want to do is stifle my creativity (one of the things I love about myself, for once!), so you can expect even more in the future.
For now, I hope you’ll join me in this cozy little club.
